We are seeking an experienced and proactive Infrastructure Team Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and management of hybrid IT infrastructure for companies in the US, Canada, and Australia. This is a technical position that requires an individual with experience in managing global infrastructure with a focus on company integration, security, cost efficiency and service management. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure and Security - Global, this role will ensure operational stability, drive innovation, and lead strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals.

This position is ideal for a leader with deep technical expertise, strong project management skills, and a proven ability to optimize costs while delivering exceptional service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management
  • Lead and mentor the global infrastructure team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a security-first mindset.
  • Provide strategic direction, assign tasks, and ensure timely execution of infrastructure projects and operational goals.
  • Encourage professional development and cross-training to build a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and IT integration projects.
  • Develop and implement IT policies for architecture, change management, and service provision.
  • Provide training and guidelines for the adoption of new technology and operational readiness.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and business units to align technology solutions with organizational needs.


Operational Management
  • Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the Technology infrastructure and systems.
  • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of IT systems, including servers, networks, and end-user devices (as required).
  • Provide 24x7 escalation support to cross-functional teams for critical incidents, ensuring swift resolution of issues and minimal disruption.
  • Develop and implement technology policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, cloud foundations and provisioning, and service provision.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures, including vendor consolidation, licensing optimization, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Implement ITIL aligned best practices, including Change, Incident, and Problem Management, to enhance service delivery and align with SLAs.


IT Infrastructure Strategy
  • Maintain a technology roadmap for the infrastructure and network portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth.
  • Incorporate Zero Trust security principles into infrastructure design, emphasizing identity-based access, the least privilege, and micro-segmentation.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance IT infrastructure and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure operational resilience.
  • Collaborate with the security team to design and enforce robust frameworks for protecting data and IT assets.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and cybersecurity standards.


Qualifications
  • University, college or technical degree in information technology or business. Alternatively, extensive proven track record in the position's primary responsibility area.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network.
  • Minimum of 3 years leadership experience and 5 years in an infrastructure design or supporting role.
  • Experience working with managed service providers, SaaS services, and hosted solutions.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while handling time-sensitive competing priorities.


Technical Expertise
  • Extensive experience in hybrid IT environments, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, Fortinet, Cisco networking, Hyper-V, and VMware.
  • Proficiency in Zero Trust security models, IAM, MFA, and network segmentation.
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks and their application to IT initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, disaster recovery planning, and service management best practices.
  • Experience with Qualys, SentinelOne, Cisco Meraki, OKTA, and Fortinet Networking would be considered an asset.


Leadership and Collaboration
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire technical teams while managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and IT integration projects.
