Innovation Product Lead

The Innovation Product Lead is responsible for guiding a multidisciplinary team of developers and technical specialists to explore, test, and implement innovative solutions that solve real business problems.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of innovation initiatives-from idea exploration to pilot implementation-by driving product strategy, design, and execution.
• Partner with stakeholders and business leads to identify opportunities where emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation, cloud-native solutions) can deliver measurable value.
• Build and maintain a roadmap of innovation experiments and prototypes, prioritizing based on feasibility, value, and strategic alignment.
• Coach and guide a technical team (developers, data scientists, AI engineers) to apply lean and agile principles to rapidly deliver working solutions.
• Manage risk by designing lightweight experiments and MVPs to test assumptions before scaling.
• Act as a champion for emerging technology adoption and product-thinking within the organization.
• Collaborate closely with other innovation leaders to embed innovation capabilities into enterprise service delivery

Mandatory Requirements:

• Education: Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Innovation Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in emerging technologies, innovation delivery, or digital product leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams building and delivering technology-enabled products or solutions.
• Proven track record of experimenting with emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation, cloud-native platforms, low-code tools) and turning prototypes into scalable business value

• Skilled at managing backlogs, roadmaps, and iterative delivery cycles across multiple workstreams or experiments.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and using experimentation to inform decision-making.

Technical Fluency

• Solid understanding of modern software development practices, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data platforms.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and data teams on technical decisions and trade-offs.
• Experience with proof-of-concept development, MVP scoping, and technology evaluation frameworks.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders-including business leaders, frontline teams, and technologists-to co-create solutions.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate the value of innovation and emerging technologies in plain language.

Innovation & Change

• Experience working in or with innovation teams, labs, or transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with lean startup methods, human-centred design, or agile experimentation frameworks.
• Passion for continuous learning and emerging tech trends.
