Position Summary - Inside Service Sales Manager

Lead & Drive Sales - Manage all aspects of inside service sales to align with strategic goals, sales plans, and business growth objectives for Critical Power Services.
Execute Strategies - Develop and implement scalable sales strategies to achieve orders, revenue, and customer retention goals.

What you'll do:
  • Manage Operations - Oversee processes and resources of the inside service sales team, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Forecast & Budget - Assist in preparing annual budgets, revenue forecasts, profitability projections, and staffing plans.
  • Sales Strategy - Support the development of sales plans to drive business growth and track performance against key sales goals.
  • Team Leadership - Direct, train, and develop employees through cross-training, education opportunities, and performance reviews.
  • Customer Engagement - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations and industry events.
  • Escalation Management - Develop and oversee problem resolution procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiation & Contracts - Support RFQs, specification reviews, and contract negotiations as needed.
  • Market Analysis - Monitor and report on customer trends, competitor activity, and market insights to adjust sales strategies.
  • Software & CRM - Advocate for and support software-based sales tools, including Salesforce and CRM systems.
  • Brand Representation - Enhance the Division's professional image through customer interactions, vendor relationships, and internal collaboration.

What you'll bring:
  • Education & Experience - bachelor's degree in business or related field with 5+ years in technical sales and 3+ years in management, or equivalent experience.
  • Service Sales Expertise - Advanced knowledge of selling service products and commercial negotiation.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking - Strong problem-solving, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
  • Leadership & Collaboration - Proven ability to work in a team environment, lead multiple projects, and drive performance.
  • Communication & Presentation - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and writtencommunication skills for engaging with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Technical Proficiency - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, CRM platforms, and product development software.
