Description of Work Unit
The College of Business at Colorado State University is an AACSB accredited business school which enrolls more than 4,100 undergraduate students in 10 business concentrations. The College enrolls approximately 1,500 students in five different MBA programs and three department-based graduate programs in the Master of Accountancy, the Master of Computer Information Systems, and the Master of Financial Risk Management.
The Department of Management is one of five departments in the College of Business. The department has a strong record of teaching and research accomplishments as well as a collegial work environment. There are three primary areas in the department including supply chain management, human resource management/organizational behavior, and entrepreneurship/strategy. The Department currently has 19 tenured/tenure track faculty members and 8contract/continuing faculty members. The Management Department serves all undergraduate business majors, over 1,400 undergraduate business minors, all students in the entrepreneurship minor, and all MBA students. The MBA program is offered in residence and via Colorado State University's accredited online learning programs.

Position Summary
The Department of Management invites applications for the position of Contract/Continuing Lecturer. This is a 9-month non-tenure track position with benefits. The teaching load for this position is 7-8 sections with schedule to be determined by the Department chair. This position addresses teaching needs in strategic management and entrepreneurship with a secondary emphasis in supply chain management to support various concentrations and minor programs.
Specific responsibilities include teaching strategic management, entrepreneurship, and/or supply chain management courses in the undergraduate program and engaging in service. Evening and on-line teaching may be required. Research may be a component of the position for PhD qualified applicants. Lecturers are responsible for all aspects of course delivery, including syllabus production, meeting with students, and assigning final grades. Some courses have multiple sections and several instructors/lecturers/professors, and thus instructors are required to coordinate syllabi, course content, and grading standards in a team environment. The College of Business is widely known for its commitment to experiential learning throughout the curriculum.

Required Job Qualifications
- Applicants must have experience in teaching strategic management, entrepreneurship, and/or supply chain management courses.
- Candidates must have either a PhD or master's degree in business or a closely related discipline combined with a demonstrated ability for quality teaching.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Directly relevant teaching experience,
- Relevant professional experience,
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching,
- Ability to effectively coordinate with other members in the Department and College to improve the content and delivery of departmental courses, and
- Positively contribute to a collegial atmosphere.
