We're looking for someone to join our team as an Integrated BH Manager who:

The BH Integration Manager is like that of a Clinical Manager role in the Behavioral Health department and reports directly to the Senior Director of Behavioral Health. The primary responsibility of the Integration Manager is to oversee the treatment of patients with emotional, mental and psychological disorders in the "mild-moderate" system of care, through the clinical and logistic direction of behavioral health services offered in the community health centers. The Integration Manager relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, as well as to consult and triage with the Licensed CHC Therapists, psychiatry providers, and primary care providers for optimal patient care. The BH Integration Manager leads and directs the work of others and performs a wide variety of tasks in which a wide degree of latitude and creativity is expected.

Essential Functions:
  • Patient Flow Management: Assist in organizing and managing patient flow in integrated "mild-moderate" level of care settings, ensuring the efficient delivery of behavioral health services across CHCs.
  • Clinical Supervision: Under the guidance of the Director of Behavioral Health, provide senior-level clinical supervision of licensed Behavioral Health Providers (BHPs) to maintain compliance with county, state, contract, The Joint Commission, and Clinica Sierra Vista standards.
  • Direct Client Care: Maintain 1-2 clinic days to provide direct client care as needed for peer review, during staff shortages, or as directed by the Director of Behavioral Health Integration.
  • Promote Vision and Mission: Advocate for the vision and mission of Clinica Sierra Vista's Behavioral Health department both internally and externally.
  • Clinical Quality Oversight: Ensure the veracity and excellence of clinical work performed by staff, including the timely documentation of services.
  • Outcome Measure Reporting: Oversee integrated reports for behavioral health outcome measures to track and improve patient care.
  • Environment Management: Ensure a safe, clean, informative, and welcoming environment for clients receiving behavioral health services in integrated settings.
  • Communication with Director of Operations - BH Integration: Report any operational or clinical issues related to integration efforts to the Director of Operations - BH Integration.
  • Collaboration with Other Directors: Work closely with other department directors to sustain, promote, and expand programs and services.
  • Strategic Planning and Meetings: Participate in strategic planning and facilitate departmental meetings as needed.
  • Staff Training: Organize and present trainings on behavioral health services and processes to staff and community health center partners.
  • Policy Compliance: Adhere to Clinica Sierra Vista and Behavioral Health policies and procedures.
  • Confidentiality: Always maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
  • Kern and Fresno Teams: Assist with oversight and support of both Kern and Fresno integrated teams.
  • Employee Evaluations: Conduct introductory and annual employee reviews, complete competency assessments, and provide constructive feedback to support professional development and organizational goals.

  • You'll be successful with the following qualifications:
  • Licensure: Requires a master's degree and at least 2 years post-licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or licensed clinical psychologist.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem Solving and Organizational Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
  • Technology Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheet, database, word processing, and other computer software applications.
