The Work
Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) Integrated Engineering is looking for a first line leader responsible for a multi-disciplinary team that develops innovative training and logistics solutions for F-35 Pilot Training Devices (PTD). This position will not only serve in a functional management role within Development Environment (DE), but will also hold a program technical role consistent with their skillset.
As a key member of our leadership team you will:
Enable and manage the performance of talented, multi-disciplined engineering teams by setting and clearly communicating organizational vision, expectations and objectives
Ensure the integrity of engineering activity by employing both quantitative and qualitative management approaches and compliance with Command Media
Collect and use data to make data-driven decisions
Actively monitor staffing demand and take action to ensure sufficient supply
Promote the continual identification and active management of teams' risks and opportunities
Champion continuous improvement activities, especially those aligning to Digital Transformation
Organize and facilitate the personal and career development of team members
Ensure team members are prepared with the training and skills to be successful within their teams
Create and execute organizational training plans
Foster a work environment that values diverse ideas, share out-of-the-box thinking and focus on big-picture solutions
Who You Are
You enjoy champion engineering rigor and product development process compliance throughout the product lifecycle. You bring innovative ideas that influence the broader engineering tenets while aligning activities for efficient and successful engineering methodology. You champion organizational change across the portfolio and optimize how the product lines operate.
This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering related discipline
- Experience working collaboratively with Program Management, Finance, and Contracts organizations
- Experience with server hardware and administration
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Experience with Agile Product Development
Desired skills
- Active Secret Clearance with F35 SAP
- 9 years or more of professional, related experience
- Advanced degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Management
- Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) including resolving cost, schedule and technical challenges with cross functional teams
- Previous leadership experience, including mentoring / coaching to support the technical and professional development of others
- Experience developing and managing a project budget and schedule, managing risks and opportunities, managing to metrics
- Understanding of program, functional, and process metrics including Earned Value Management (EVM)
- SAFe Training/Certification, RMS SAM Training/Certification or other Recognized Agile Certification
- Working knowledge of Python, Linux, Windows, Agile, or Atlassian tool suite

Work Schedule Information

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
