-Dental and dental imaging applications integration

-HL7, FHIR, DICOM Interfaces, APIs

-Millennium configuration and EHR orderable aliasing

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM)) program as an Integration Oversight Lead to provide VistA/Cerner expertise to interface and application development/configuration efforts. Collaborate with system integrator and provide expertise to ensure the interface or solution design and development meet VA requirements. Support interface or solution design, development, test, and cutover planning from a technical perspective including technical analysis of interface or solution design artifacts, such as Interface Control Documents.
Manage a portfolio of interfaces and plan timeline for transitioning to sustainment.
Gather, collect, and populate data for the VistA and Non-VistA legacy application cutover and transition templates.
Engage with existing legacy system owners, business owners, and Cerner.
Coordinate and support various meetings, create meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up.
Create and manage plans for interface decommissioning.
Identify, remediates/escalates technical challenges, gaps, risks/issues.
Applies knowledge of routing, filtering, transformation of message traffic through middleware, or data sharing standards, such as HL 7 to create or provide input to technical COAs, architecture and technical documents to drive decision making by government.
Work independently and solve technical issues under general direction and to prepare briefs for senior government leads.
Provide input to process design, documentation and improvements as needed.

Minimum qualifications:
15+ years of professional work experience
Must create strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained.
Coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed.
Must be experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks.
Must be cost conscience as well addressing goals.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent or an additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Preferred qualifications:
VA experience preferred
Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
