Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a Level III - Integration / System / Technical Architect with extensive Salesforce architecture experience to lead technical design and systems integration initiatives across large-scale enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Salesforce Integration Architecture, middleware tools, and external system design patterns. This role is critical to enabling secure, scalable, and high-performing multi-org integrations within complex ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end design of Salesforce integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, and enterprise service bus (ESB) technologies.
  • Architect and implement secure, scalable multi-org solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Design integration patterns using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and external objects.
  • Collaborate with business, security, and DevOps teams to support solution design, data flow diagrams, and governance frameworks.
  • Define and enforce integration standards, technical architecture best practices, and platform scalability strategies.
  • Drive performance tuning, data migration strategies, and cross-system orchestration.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration mapping specifications.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to development and QA teams on Salesforce API usage and middleware configurations.

Required Qualifications:
  • 6-8+ years of Salesforce experience, with 3+ years in a technical or integration architecture capacity.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer certification (Required).
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a strong plus or currently pursuing it.
  • Hands-on experience with middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Jitterbit).
  • Strong expertise in API management, system integrations, and enterprise solution design.
  • Deep understanding of governor limits, bulkification, error handling, and platform scalability.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex, large-scale environments with multiple Salesforce orgs or hybrid ecosystems.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and either currently hold or be eligible for a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) - ideal
  • Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer - required
  • Experience working in federal or DoD environments
  • Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA)
  • Experience with CI/CD, Salesforce DevOps, and event-driven architecture
