Job Title: Integrator - System Administrator Role
Location: 100% onsite - 1616 Woodall Rodgers Fwy, Dallas, TX 75202
Tentative Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: 6 months plus possible extensions
Interviews: Onsite interviews are required
The Control Systems Integrator System Administrator is responsible for overseeing requirements definition, implementation, and maintenance of Control System. This individual will coordinate with various stakeholders and partners to define, architect, prioritize, and execute application enhancements, projects, and operational functions/requests. This will require that the incumbent has knowledge of protected processes and procedures as well as the technology tools that are used to support operations. The Control Systems Integrator is responsible for ensuring adequate clarification and support on all business and functional requirements related to the control system applications insuring that *** is aware and compliant with all NERC-CIP regulations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Directly, or through others, the incumbent will:
Perform day-to-day maintenance (additions, deletions, updates) of the core solution
Provide after hours On Call Support per a scheduled rotation
Ensure group objectives and goals related to critical issue support, compliance activities, projects, and ongoing operational activities are achieved
Demonstrate strong leadership in change management and problem resolution supporting the development and execution of strategic objectives and goals
With minimal supervision, lead the preparation and delivery of short and long term initiatives
Provide business partner assistance and guidance regarding IT in the protected space
Understand business needs and strategic direction for technology, as well as the functionality of technology as it relates to the electric utility industry
Support project activities associated to the design, development, testing, deployment, and certification of associated infrastructure and applications
Perform all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements
Job Attributes
Education -Two year technical degree or eight to ten years relevant experience
Experience - Eight to ten years of hands on IT experience
5+ years Advanced REHL Linux system administration experience (Red Hat,)
2+ years' in a regulated environment
2+ years' experience with storage and backup solutions
Experience working with Windows or other operating systems a plus
Participate in a 24 x 7 on-call rotation and support on a rotational basis as assigned
Preferred NERC CIP certification or experience with NERC CIP compliance activities
Demonstrated server/hardware experience with Dell, Client, and IBM products
Advanced knowledge and understanding of Information and Operational Technology systems
Some knowledge of utility operations, utility equipment, and IT operational and compliance processes
Experience working in a fast paced environment.
Possesses advanced interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple assigned tasks and execute parallel tasks
Demonstrated excellence in team building and collaborative leadership skills to build consensus solutions
Experienced in meeting stringent deadlines while managing multiple tasks with competing priorities
Skilled in problem solving and gaining consensus required for the implementation of needed solutions
Preferred knowledge of Control System processing, including the use of real-time data servers, Communication Front End servers, RTUs, and transducers
