Duties
- Collects and analyzes information attained from open-source resources in addition to: Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies, the intelligence community, foreign governments, financial institutions, and technology companies.
- Analyze intelligence gathered to detect and counter potential threats to national security.
- Works closely with government liaisons to leverage agency resources, strengthen communication and collaboration, and capture best practices and lessons learned.
- Coordinates with Intelligence Community partners to identify patterns, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats.
- Prepares formal assessments and briefs to various levels of government leadership in a manner that is easy to understand and demonstrates logical, supportable conclusions and relationships.
- Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and professional developments to remain current in the field and for application to work assignments.
- Operates within the intelligence community analytic standards, including Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 203/206 compliance. Collaborates with internal and senior staff to address diverse and complex issues.
Qualifications
- BA/BS
- Experience with targeting tools, operational activities, technical collection capabilities, and operational processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge and skill to adapt and apply various analytical and quantitative techniques and to document and justify recommendations
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external individuals/groups
