Duties * Research manpower requirements criteria, equipment authorization and usage criteria, personnel management policies, and readiness reporting criteria to ensure that new organizations are supportable, sustainable, and combat capable. * Research, propose, and develop Military Intelligence (MI) requirements documents, i.e., Unit Reference Sheets (URS) and Automated Unit Reference Sheets (AURS). * Brief force designs and requirements documents throughout the agency approval process and defend the command's position in intra-departmental forums. * Exercise judgment and initiative in making the necessary proposals for adaptations to regulatory guidance dealing with force structure development. * Conduct bi-annual cyclic review of established requirements. * Review and comment on Notification of Future Changes (NOFCs), Changes to Manpower Requirements Criteria (MARC), and other updates affecting existing and envisioned organizations. * Research, propose, provide guidance and input to Military Intelligence (MI) Tables of Organizations and Equipment (TOEs) and Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP) for future multi-disciplined MI Unites Army wide. * Review projected threats and current Intelligence and Electronic Warfare (IEW) capabilities to identify needs resulting from deficiencies. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI). * In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. * Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
