The Neil Jones Food Company is an industry leader, processing superior quality fresh-packed, vine-ripened California tomatoes and Pacific Northwest fruit. Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation's discerning foodservice, retail, industrial and institutional customers with the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 50 years. NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.
We are looking for an International Sales Manager to oversee all aspects of export sales to countries outside of the US. Current growth markets are Central/Latin America, Asia, Australia and Puerto Rico. Will be responsible for ensuring proper documentation of all export shipments, growing sales through strategic relationships, and selling from all NJFC manufacturing plants. This leader prepares and maintains, for regular review, an active account target list at our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plans, coordinates and provides accurate forecasting and pricing of all export products.
- Interacts with plant operations personnel to ensure customer specifications on both product and packaging are met.
- Communicates with internal and external personnel to establish and maintain successful working relationships with all departments.
- Collaborates with the entire sales and administrative team to communicate, train, and capitalize on all NJFC customer/broker relationships.
- Develops, forecasts and budgets for assigned area(s) and product categories.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Food Science, Food Technologies, or related field; or any equivalent combination of training, experience and education that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the key responsibilities of this position.
- 7 years of related experience of international food products sales; processed fruit and/or tomatoes experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of international logistics, distribution methods, and international food sales and a network of perspective customers where candidate has solid relationships.
- Requires a valid passport and driver's license with a driving record that meets minimum company standards, ability to manage all expenses prudently and submit expenses every 30 days, and able to travel by air 30 - 40% of time.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check including employment and educational verification, credit screen, and to work extended schedule and weekends during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October.
Compensation:
The salary range is $127,000 - $150,000 based on experience and qualifications.
