The International Sales Manager requires an individual who is able to coordinate a large number of projects concurrently as well as the ability to connect and communicate with individuals from different locations, cultures and business climates from around the world. The International Sales Manager role will have equal parts outward facing by identifying new customers and opportunities, attending trade shows, managing a network of international representatives and distributors as well as inward facing responsibility in working with engineering teams, new products teams, finance teams and production teams to execute and oversee order and contract requirements. The International Sales Manager will be responsible for their respective territory and all sales and profitability metrics assigned to that territory.
This position reports to the Sr. Director of International Sales and will be based in either Anoka, MN or Lewiston, ID.

$108,000.00 - $159,200.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

What you'll do:
- Meet sales and profit targets for assigned region
- Meet expense budget, control spending and stay lean
- Regular communication with customers to track existing order requirements as well as upcoming order and contract requirements
- Technical knowledge of ammunition and related products to support end user/end use applications and in country regional sales support.
- Demonstrates and provide instruction on the use of products
- Attend trade shows, internal sales meetings and other product and industry training as needed
- Develop relationships throughout The Kinetic Group to create a network of support in executing on sales territory requirements
- Develop strategic plans regarding complex international or global key account approaches based on industry trends and customer analysis
- Ability to read contract requirements and pull key information
- Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and identify opportunities as well as track upcoming government requirements
- Conduct meetings with internal teams as well as prepare presentations for executive leadership on the initiatives within the sales territory
- Maintain a solid understanding of business, financials, ammunition, accessories and/or firearms products
- Knows the Country, Federal, State and Local regulations affecting the customers and industries in the sales territory and conducts sales in compliance with the laws and regulations
- Keeps informed of new products, industry trends and other information of interest to customers
- Investigate new product applications or improvements to product for regions/markets
Experience you bring:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience in a complex and challenging international or dynamic account sales environment
- Proven sales performance against assigned targets
- Experience with ammunition business and export knowledge
- Able to demonstrate and provide instruction on the use of ammunition products
- Experience and understanding of business and firearms products finance
- Experience in firearms, ammunition, and accessories products
- Understanding of the Country, Federal, State and Local regulations affecting the customers and industries in the sales territory
- Demonstrated ability to support account penetration activities, and helps to maintain and develop relationships with a wide variety of decision makers within large and complex international or global strategic accounts
- Ability to keep current with large and changing product offerings
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills as well as strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned territory to include travel between our U.S. manufacturing facilities and other domestic industry as required.
You might have:
- Experience as a service member, end user or specialist in firearms or ammunition
- Degree in international business or relations
- Masters Degree in Business or related field
