Experienced International Trade Compliance (ITC) Engineer to support export/import activities at the Aeronautics business unit for all Programs. The successful candidate will:
-Be responsible for overseeing and organizing the Jurisdiction and Classification program for the Aeronautics business unit
- Apply engineering knowledge of parts, components, systems and data as delineated in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Export Administration Regulations
- Apply knowledge and understanding of export regulatory definitions as they apply to jurisdiction and classification (J/C).
- Interact with program team personnel to understand products, software, technology, and services utilized in the Aeronautics market segments.
-Function as professional authority and consultant, providing expert analysis of governmental export/import regulations, laws and requirements and interpretation of their interrelationships with specific and general activities.
-Provide guidance and ensure compliance with terms and conditions of approved export/import authorizations and
research/interpret complex Government regulations such as the ITAR and EAR.
-Proactively collaborate with various Program personnel to define licensing requirements
- Support development and implementation of Jurisdiction and Classification policies and procedures.
-Participate / support compliance plans and projects, export and import tools and process improvements, and LMC 1LMX initiatives.
-Conduct import/export compliance training, including limitations and provisos on export authorizations, for Program and general employee population.
- Support the conduct of compliance self-assessments and collaborate with Aeronautics Legal Investigations on investigations into potential export/import issues.
-May assist with the preparation, implementation and modification of export license applications, technical assistance agreements, manufacturing license agreements, and exemption / exception usage to support program execution and new business opportunities.
Position virtual but must be located in close proximity to a major Aeronautics LMC facility.
The successful candidate will be required to have a Secret Clearance within the first year of employment
Basic Qualifications

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $117,200 - $206,770. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
