POSITION SUMMARY
Opportunity for an Interventional Radiologist in a fast-growing community with full IR Angio suite. Located within a 30-minute drive of the Metropolitan area.
This position is 80-85% IR focused with the remaining in General Diagnostic.
Our team is made up of 40 fellowship-trained sub-specialty radiologists from well-known academic centers, 4 highly trained PA's, as well as support staff radiology assistants covering 24 x 7 to help with referring physician phone calls, call reports and overall general radiologist support.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum one-year post-residency IR fellowship training

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for high level interventional procedures and angiography, including:
- Management of gastrointestinal and post-traumatic bleeding complications
- Atherectomy
- Kyphoplasty
- Thermal ablation (all modalities)
- Chemo- and radioembolization procedures such as related to oncologic liver therapies
- Comfortable with general radiology and general procedures
- Desire to become a team member and part of an existing cohesive team
