About The Role

Kidango is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager of Inventory Compliance to oversee and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and optimization of our inventory management processes. The Manager of Inventory Compliance is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive inventory compliance program. This role is crucial in ensuring that our inventory management practices align with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. The successful candidate will play a key role in minimizing discrepancies, preventing losses, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of our inventory management.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inventory compliance policies and procedures in line with industry standards and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-function al teams, including information technology, facilities, operations, and finance, to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance at all stages of the supply chain.
  • Serve as the organization's liaison with our state and federal consultants and the respective procurement requirements, including formal and informal procurement methods
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory data, processes, and transactions to identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and non-compliance issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels, inventory turns, and aging stock, making recommendations for optimization and efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to all relevant compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Investigate discrepancies and variances in inventory records and lead efforts to resolve and prevent such issues.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address compliance deficiencies and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Train and educate staff on inventory compliance best practices and ensure their understanding of company policies.
  • Analyze inventory-related data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on inventory compliance status, key performance indicators, and recommended improvements.

Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g.,
    CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, compliance, or related roles, with a minimum of five years of relevant
    experience.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control best practices, compliance regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.


Compensation

$126,000-$126,000 USD

  • Must pass a health screening and TB test
  • Must pass background fingerprint clearance
  • Valid Driver License
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • The ability to lift up to 30lbs may be needed during some job duties
