Investment Analyst Responsibilities
- Perform financial modeling (LBO).
- Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support.
- Perform business, financial, and operational analysis across portfolio companies.
- Support the preparation of investment committee presentations for various investment opportunities.
- Provide market research support including an overview of market trends at macro and micro level in support of current and potential investments/themes.
- Actively participate in the due diligence process, including maintenance of diligence trackers, research and modeling when evaluating new investments.
- In support of the Deal Team, review new investment opportunities including risk identification.
- Attend portfolio company board and management meetings, capture notes, summarize next steps and key insights for the investment team and project manage follow up activity.
- Participate in ad hoc special projects and track long-term strategic initiatives alongside the Deal Team and portfolio company leadership.
Job requirements include but are not limited to:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, business management, engineering, economics, or related field with a competitive GPA
- Minimum of one year of applicable experience in private equity, investment banking, accounting/transaction services, or corporate development.
- Strong accounting, finance, modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills supported by a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Solid organizational skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic, integrity, drive and ability to build trust
- Proactive thinking with a creative problem-solving approach
