DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A or capital market transactions. Interact with senior team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives. Define, guide and review detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analyses. Define, guide and review detailed combination and other financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations. Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to Associates and Analysts. Review, draft and analyze Non-disclosure agreements, term sheets, offer letters, and other legal agreements. This position requires 10% Domestic Travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing Research, or in a related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking, Investment Analyst, Analyst, or in a related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing Research, or in a related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking, Investment Analyst, Analyst, or in a related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience in the following: Corporate finance and accounting analysis such as IRR, NPV or MoM returns; Analyze M&A transaction structures; Buy-side, sell-side, and structured M&A transactions; Financial models, including business operating models, revenue models, and cost models; Value creation analysis, Contribution analysis, Internal rate of return analysis, Sum-of-the- parts analysis, and Synergy analysis; Financial modeling, valuation, and analytics, including discounted cash flow, comparable companies and precedent transaction valuation methodologies; Microsoft Office Suite including emphasis on macros, VBA and complex tools such as PowerPivots and Data Models; and Bloomberg, and Thomson ONE.
Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. This position requires 10% Domestic Travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $225,000 - $225,000 per year.
