Foran Mining is a dynamic and growing company, focused on responsible critical metal production, with a strong commitment to sustainability. As we continue to develop our McIlvenna Bay project and transition into a producer, we are looking for a talented Investor Relations Manager to play a critical role in strengthening relationships with investors and enhancing the company's capital markets strategy. This is a hybrid position based in the Toronto office and your home, with occasional travel.
The Investor Relations Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of investor relations strategies to enhance shareholder value, promote the company's investment case, and maintain proactive communication with current and potential investors. The individual will work closely with the VP, Capital Markets & External Affairs to ensure consistent messaging, manage investor interactions, and provide critical insights into capital markets trends.

The Investor Relations Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of investor relations strategies to enhance shareholder value, promote the company's investment case, and maintain proactive communication with current and potential investors. The individual will work closely with the VP, Capital Markets & External Affairs to ensure consistent messaging, manage investor interactions, and provide critical insights into capital markets trends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and disseminate investor communications through press releases, presentations, website content, and earnings materials.
- Support proactive engagement with institutional investors, analysts, and potential shareholders.
- Plan and execute investor roadshows, site tours, and conference participation.
- Coordinate meetings with the CEO, VP, key investors, and manage site visits to Foran's projects.
- Monitor analyst reports, stock performance, investor perceptions, and competitor developments.
- Develop and manage investor-facing social media content and collaborate on digital presence.
- Compile quarterly reports, financial results, investor materials, and conference call scripts.
- Prepare detailed reports on investor activity, ownership trends, and feedback from meetings.
- Collaborate on targeted advertising campaigns and investor marketing across digital and traditional channels.
- Ensure compliance of investor materials with regulatory and stock exchange requirements.
- Handle additional tasks as directed by the VP, Capital Markets & External Affairs.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, or a related role.
- Experience working with publicly-listed companies or in the mining sector.
- Knowledge of ESG practices and sustainability reporting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling or data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, investor relations practices, advertising, marketing, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing social media outreach and creating digital content related to investor engagement.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills with experience preparing investor materials and delivering presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and internal teams.
- CFA designation or actively studying towards it is an asset.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours when needed.
- Willingness to travel for investor meetings, roadshows, and site tours.
