Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: 3+ years in Interventional Radiology Technologist role
License: North Dakota Medical Imaging Board registration (NDMIRT)
Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)
Must-Have: EPIC Experience (preferred)
Job Description:
- Assist radiologists during procedures by scrubbing beside and coordinating the room during cases.
- Schedule and code procedures accurately.
- Conduct post-procedure film processing with charting and billing cases and supplies.
- Utilize equipment such as the Electronic EMR (Epic), Sectra PACS, Toshiba IR Machine, and Siemens Ultrasound Unit.
- Work independently for smaller interventional cases and in two-person teams for large angiography work.
- Participate in a call rotation, including evenings and weekends, based on schedule requirements.
- Float to other departments, such as Cat Scan, to assist with procedures.
- Work in units with two fluoro rooms, CT utilization, and two rooms for ultrasound procedures.
- Follow the hospital scrubs dress code (supplied).
- Undergo unit-specific training and orientation, including EMR training, general equipment use, and protocol review.
- Be prepared for 8-hour shifts with the possibility of staying late to finish a case if started late. Call duties are required for approximately 10 days per month or less, influenced by time off schedules.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate beyond an 80-mile radius.
