Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with one day off (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
License: Yes
Certifications: BLS, Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
Must-Have: 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience; travel experience preferred; neuro experience not needed
Job Description:
- Work in an acute care setting specializing in body procedures.
- Handle general body procedures such as tube placements, line placements, stents, drains, Y-90s, and IVIS.
- Collaborate with a team of 1 tech scrubbed in, 1 tech circulating, and 1 tech in the control room.
- Operate under the guidance of 1 Interventional Radiologist and 1-2 Physician Assistants during working hours.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system and work with McKesson PACS and Philips FD 20 equipment.
- Participate in a supportive work environment with great Interventional Radiologists and nursing staff.
- Engage in unit/department-specific orientation for 3 days to 1 week.
- Follow a provided dress code with scrub color requirements.
- May have the potential to float to other locations within the network on rare occasions.
Note: No on-call or weekend requirements. No holiday coverage required.
