2HB Incorporated is seeking a ISSE to support its government in Chantilly, Virginia

Scope of Work
The US Government (USG) provides highly-technical centralized cybersecurity services for its organization to include Cyber Defenders, Cyber Assessors, and Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs). The USG requires specialized support in software development to prototype cybersecurity tools and utilities primarily for executive reporting of cyber metrics and trending and facilitating efficient Authorization and Assessment (A&A) efforts.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with cybersecurity information technology, security applications, and networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, web and email protocols).
• Understanding of the A & A process
• Analyzing, defining, and documenting requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, cyber data, and relevant tech solutions
• Experience reviewing reports and providing a basic analysis of findings and results.
• Experience with network and vulnerability scanning using tools such as Nmap and Rapid7 Nexpose.
• Experience remediating a wide variety of network and system vulnerabilities
• Experience identifying solutions for enhancing responses to request for information.
• Experience contributing to the development and improvement of security monitoring, assessments, and incident response process and solutions
