The Business Project Manager will be a critical team member of the project team to oversee and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Simulation phases within our Oracle Cloud ERP implementation. The project is a multi-year, company-wide Enterprise Business

Applications (EBA) initiative, also referred to as the Aurora Program. The Aurora program will modernize business processes and platforms upon which the company operates.
Key to your success in this role will be a proven track record in not only understanding and managing the complexities of enterprise resource planning systems but also your adeptness at assimilating into established teams and processes. Your ability to assess the current project phase, comprehend the established plans, and coordinate your activities to complement ongoing efforts will be critical. You must be ready to hit the ground running, building upon the foundations already laid by the existing team, and drive the project forward through the critical phases of UAT and Business Simulation.
The role demands a results-driven individual who thrives in collaborative settings, working closely with the Technology Project Manager for testing, the Implementation Partner, and the QA testing team to ensure the seamless integration of your plans and deliverables into the broader project scope. You will be expected to rapidly establish rapport and foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, understanding their needs and aligning your efforts to support and enhance the objectives of the ERP implementation.
With an eye for detail and a deep understanding of large-scale ERP implementations, you will lead by example, ensuring that your approach to UAT is meticulously planned, clearly communicated, and effectively executed within the current framework of the project. Your exceptional project management skills will be instrumental in navigating the complexities of the implementation, ensuring that testing phases are executed on time, within scope, and above expected standards.
This role will take direction from the Business Program Lead, and daily direction from the Aurora Program Management Office (PMO) lead. This role will be instrumental in orchestrating the efforts of critical business activities across a multitude of workstreams to deliver program level objectives that align with overall program scope, budget and schedule.
Responsibilities include:
Program Management: The primary activities will include planning, coordinating, scheduling and orchestrating business deliverables based upon the priorities established
by Program Leadership and the PMO. This position will have the following responsibilities:
o Work in partnership with the Technology PM for testing to define testing strategies and develop comprehensive plans for the UAT and Business Simulation testing phases.
o Manage a team of business users and stakeholders to ensure active participation in the testing processes, securing the resources necessary for testing activities.
o Coordinate with the Implementation Partner to ensure alignment of testing activities with the overall project schedule and resolve any potential conflicts.
o Develop and maintain detailed testing schedules, ensuring that all business processes are thoroughly tested within project timelines.
o Oversee the creation, review, and approval of testing scenarios, scripts, and requirements to ensure full coverage of all business functions affected by the ERP implementation.
o Facilitate communication between business users and the technical teams to ensure clear understanding of the requirements and functionalities.
o Lead the effort in identifying, documenting, and tracking issues discovered during testing, working closely with business users and technical teams to prioritize and resolve defects.
o Drive the preparation, execution, and follow-ups of testing sessions, ensuring the readiness of test environments, access provisions, and test data.
Integration and Alignment:
o Immerse themselves seamlessly into the existing project environment, quickly grasping the status, dynamics, challenges, and the established vision.
o Develop an acute understanding of the existing plans, strategies, and execution teams, and demonstrate agile adaptability to align personal and team tasks with
ongoing activities.
o Leverage outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to forge strong relationships with key team members, stakeholders, and execution teams, ensuring a harmonious integration into the current workflow.
o Evaluate and integrate existing processes, deliverables, and timelines into a cohesive plan of action that supports and enhances the project's strategic direction.
o Help coordinate and align the introduction of new testing stages with the projects established milestones, understanding the importance of maintaining coherence with the original project cadence.
o Coordinate closely with the existing project management office (PMO) to ensure that the testing strategy and execution are in full alignment with overarching project goals and governance standards.
o Provide transparent and consistent updates, ensuring that the assimilation of new testing activities into the ongoing operations is visible, understandable, and well-received by all project participants.
o Apply a consultative approach to problem-solving, maintaining respect for the projects history and current trajectory while bringing fresh perspectives and solutions to the table.
o Calibrate personal leadership and project management methodologies to resonate with the teams existing culture, promoting a unified front and driving collaborative success.

Candidate Profile
Must Have:
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within ERP implementation projects.
Solid understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP systems and their integration within enterprise environments.
Experience managing UAT for large scale systems implementations, including planning, scripting, executing, and defect resolution.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Knowledge of quality assurance principles, testing tools, and best practices.
Proven track record of successfully managing teams and delivering projects on time and on budget.
Technical proficiency with enterprise architecture tools, agile methodologies, and project management software.
Experience designing and constructing business processes and their links to technology.
Aptitude for driving standards and passion for continuous improvement.
Ability to think independently and effectively, meet tight deadlines by managing multiple tasks/deliverables at varying complexities.
Nice to Have:
Proficiency in Jira and various testing tools.
PMI, Prince2, or other project management certification is highly desirable.
Previous experience in the agriculture or food production industry is a plus.
