Description:
The IT Director provides leadership in achieving goals and priorities in the overall management of current and planned IT services within Augusta Health.
As a leader of the IT organization, the IT Director additionally provides leadership in strategic planning, budgeting, mentoring, policy development and operational excellence for the department. Success is demonstrated by mentoring teams and individuals; managing complex projects; and building systems capabilities that reflects the highest state of technical sophistication consistent with the corporation's needs and budget.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, healthcare administration, medical informatics, or related field.
Experience Requirements
5 years of project management/execution experience with timely delivery of complex projects with high quality and within budget.
5 years of experience in IT Healthcare systems.
Demonstrated progression of responsibility in healthcare leadership positions.
Solid understanding of current network and infrastructure technologies and best practices strongly desired.

IT budget management experience
