THE ROLE: IT DIRECTOR
(Full-time, Hybrid New York City)
As the IT Director for Camino Partners, LFF and Builders Network, you will develop and implement strategic IT roadmaps for each organization, maintain our infrastructure, deliver an excellent end user experience, and oversee our outsourced helpdesk and SOC. You are responsible for the secure operations of a cloud/SaaS environment, and managing, monitoring, and improving the security toolsets in a Zero-Trust environment. You will manage our relationship with a Managed Services Provider and all other IT vendors and monitor their work quality and execution.

THE ROLE: IT DIRECTOR
(Full-time, Hybrid New York City)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive technology initiatives that advance operations and empower business growth, collaborating with teams to identify technology enablers and implement innovative solutions.
- Research, evaluate and deploy new and emerging technologies.
- Validate and update security policies and protocols, holding MSPs accountable for compliance.
- Manage the IT department's annual budget, driving cost-effective solutions.
- Manage and secure Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory environments, implementing best practices in security, device policies, and identity management.
- Oversee end user support to ensure smooth technology operations.
- Collaborate with vendors and MSPs to ensure high-quality service delivery, while maintaining accountability for overall execution.
- Lead on and improve the cybersecurity awareness program for end users.
- Develop and maintain security tools, techniques and procedures to facilitate security testing, vulnerability detection, validation and mitigation.
- Thorough monitoring of and swift response to all IT incidents.
- Oversee cloud encryption and cryptography to safeguard data.
- Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure security by staying informed on industry advancements.
- Test, install, and upgrade software and hardware to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Manage on premise technology infrastructure and hardware.
Requirements
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU:
- Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent by track-record of successful experience.
- Have 10+ years of experience in the IT field with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Have strong project management experience with the ability to stay organized, work across competing priorities and drive projects from conception to execution.
- Are a self-starter with a proactive approach, a strong work ethic and execution orientation.
- Demonstrate creative thinking, resourcefulness and skilled problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibit keen attention to detail.
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Enjoy interacting closely with team members to collaborate and develop strong relationships.
- Have hands-on experience managing Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Have hands-on experience with Zero Trust network architecture.
