IT Enterprise BTP Architect

Job description:

The SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a strategic tool chosen as part of the SAP S4/HANA Transition. Seeking an experienced IT Enterprise BTP Architect to oversee the governance and roadmap for SAP BTP.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overall architecture and administration of the BTP platform. The BTP focal will work on-site a few days a week to manage and lead the functional and process sides of Enterprise Architecture with a focus on SAP BTP.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP BTP integrations lead including integrations to vended applications including Primavera, Hexagon Ecosys, and Coupa.
• Positioning company SAP BTP portfolio for S4/HANA deployment. Develop roadmap and identify opportunities to leverage SAP BTP's wider potential outside of an integration suite.
• Working with project managers to plan and implement integrations and interfaces for on-prem and cloud solutions.
• Lead and facilitate workshops for integration architecture and identification of interface needs.
• Build relationships with 3rd party vendors and offshore teams to support monitoring and management of SAP BTP solution.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Project Management Office (PMO) on specific projects with SAP or middleware dependencies.
• Work closely with offshore SAP team including BTP consultant on any improvement opportunities including governance and monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with project team members including System Integrators and implementation partners to influence best practices using BTP and develop a Clean Core strategy for SAP S4/HANA.
• Able to communicate efficiently with site upper management.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Technology.
• Expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Experience in SAP Fiori, BTP, BPC, HANA, or ABAP development.
• Experience in leading Enterprise Architecture development and best practices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands.

Skillsets (preferred):

• SAP S4/HANA
• SAP Signavio
• LeanIX or similar Enterprise Architecture tools
• Experience working in Oil and Gas or ideally Downstream/Refineries.
