Role Duration = Two (2) Years

Trinidad Benham Corporation is seeking an experienced IT ERP Implementation Consultant
with 5-7 years of professional experience. In this role, you will play a key part in bridging the gap
between our Accounting department and the IT team, ensuring that technology solutions align
with business goals. You will lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution
design, while actively collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable
IT solutions. This is an exciting opportunity that combines the world of accountant and business
analyst to help drive business success. The candidate should have experience working with
ERP systems, a strong working knowledge of ERP Financials Modules, and familiarity with the
Agile software development methodology. TBC is looking for someone with a strong technical
aptitude to understand complex software applications and databases alongside excellent
communication skills to work with business users and executive management to gather
requirements for our applications. In addition, the candidate must be a self-started, fast learner,
and be able to think through complex problems. The candidate will be working directly with key
stakeholders across the Accounting and Finance areas of the business and will primarily report
to the Business Process Improvement Manager and secondarily to the Controller.

  • Engage with Accounting team to define business needs/requirements within the
  • company's ERP application
  • Work with users to determine priorities and return on investment
  • Translate Accounting business needs into requirements that the IT business analyst
  • team are able consume
  • Participate in converting these requirements into stories and acceptance criteria when
  • applicable
  • Act as the "voice of the customer" within the IT team to ensure the team "builds the right
  • thing"
  • Lead requirements gathering process in assigned areas, focused on Accounting features
  • of our ERP application.
  • Document and communicate requirements to ensure the IT team is engaged and
  • requirements are understood

Application Support
  • Perform QA/testing on Accounting features and reports to ensure business needs are
  • working properly in the ERP implementation
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing
  • Provide user support for business applications including ERP
  • Perform initial analysis of reported defects and proposed enhancements
  • Provide timely feedback to users on application support issues and drive issue resolution
  • Become a subject matter expert within the Business Analyst team in accounting features
  • of our ERP application.

Accounting Responsibilities
  • Support month-end close activities including inventory roll


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Experienced professional with 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in ERP and strong working knowledge of ERP Financials modules.
  • Experience implementing one or more of the following Accounting focused ERP modules: Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Manufacturing / Inventory, General Ledger.
  • Experience in accounting
  • Experience with the accounting close process
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry of food or food contact products is desired.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Management model and documentation is desired.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
