Role Description:

We're excited to be looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support RugsUSA IT Department. In this brand-new role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our e-commerce organization's technology infrastructure. This role involves strategic planning, project management, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems and networks to ensure they align with the organization's objectives and effectively support its operations. This role reports to our Director, IT Infrastructure & Security.

You will have the opportunity to:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the organization's IT infrastructure in alignment with business objectives. Identify technology trends and advancements to recommend upgrades or new systems that enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components.Ensure the organization's IT infrastructure's reliability, security, and scalability.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Work with the Manager of Cyber Security to Implement and enforce security protocols and procedures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including, but not limited to, PCI and SOC2.
  • Evaluate and select hardware, software, and services vendors based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure the organization can recover quickly from IT outages or data breaches. Conduct regular tests and drills to validate the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans.
  • Establish and ensure the enforcement of all policies based on the direction of business leaders.
  • Provide high-level technical support and assist junior team members in resolving technical issues as needed.
  • Plan and oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time and budget.

Your background & Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in information technology or a related field is required, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, and MCSE are a plus.
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Strong technical expertise in networking, system administration, virtualization, and cloud computing including the following:
    • Windows Server 2016-2019
    • Active Directory
    • Azure Active Directory
    • M365
    • Intune
    • Apple Business Manager
    • Networking and firewalls - ideally Cisco, Meraki and Fortinet
    • SIEM
    • VMware
    • AWS EC2, RDS
    • ITSM Knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology trends and business requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire towards common goals.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000-$110,000+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the likely salary opportunity for a new hire in this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
