Responsibilities
As an IT Manager - Cloud Data Engineering, you will:

- Set priorities and align efforts across the team to drive key initiatives.
- Build relationships with IT managers supporting rental data solutions to ensure seamless project execution, release management, and functional and performance testing.
- Oversee alerting, monitoring, data ingestion, ETL processes, and 24/7 support for rental data solutions.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering DevOps team to develop KPIs that enhance the availability and usability of data services.
- Drive strategic and tactical direction for staffing, products, support, and delivery within the rental domain.
- Work closely with Business and IT leaders to prioritize initiatives across multiple programs and projects.
- Manage teams responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, and support of data acquisition, integration, and serving applications.
- Execute project plans across multiple initiatives, including small to medium-sized product optimization efforts.
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure continued growth and success.
Required:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must reside in the St. Louis, MO area with the ability to work onsite as needed.
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a large enterprise IT organization.
- Experience in people management, including career development, hiring, performance management, and training.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Experience with agile methodology.
- Background in cloud data engineering or data warehouse and reporting environments.
- Leadership experience managing application development teams with high-transaction, mission-critical workloads.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, project management methodologies, and business-IT collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to use data-driven insights for decision-making and storytelling.
- Strong mentoring and team development skills.
- Commitment to incorporating security best practices into daily work.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Expertise in designing and deploying cloud-based solutions leveraging cloud-native platforms.
- Location: St. Louis, MO (onsite as needed)
- Salary: $150,000 - $160,000 + Company Benefits (Direct Hire)
- The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
