Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned IT Manager with a strong technical background and proven leadership experience to oversee and support the IT infrastructure for our growing firm. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role within a small to medium-sized business environment. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires deep knowledge of systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity, with a strong customer service mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring optimal performance, security, and support across all systems
  • Manage and mentor a small team of IT professionals, providing technical guidance and professional development
  • Oversee system administration, network infrastructure, data backups, and information security protocols
  • Maintain and optimize Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Administer and improve our HappyFox ticketing system and ensure timely resolution of end-user support requests
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, including disaster recovery and cybersecurity best practices
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate procurement of hardware, software, and services
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that improve operations and security
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Lead onsite installs/build outs at surrounding offices throughout Florida and Georgia

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional experience in IT, with 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • Strong hands-on experience in managing Windows-based systems, networking (LAN/WAN), firewalls, and endpoint security
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Working knowledge of IT ticketing systems; experience with HappyFox is a plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience working in a legal or professional services environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Cisco CCNA
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as HIPAA or ISO/IEC 27001

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • This role may require onsite support at various office locations; a valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be able to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 lbs for hardware installations and office moves.
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be necessary to perform system maintenance and updates.

Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift - 7/7:30am-4/4:30pm
  • Monday to Friday
