THE PROGRAM
The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. THE PROJECT
The Sponsor is seeking IT Program Management support with a primary focus on integrating and managing multiple projects. The Sponsor requires IT Program Management support to develop and maintain programmatic data ranging from project plans, artifacts, waypoints, timelines, implementation planning, transition, and project closeouts supporting data collection exploitation platforms that support or enhance the data collection process.

THE ROLE
  • The Contractor shall lead the integration of current and future efforts, ensuring smooth coordination across different technical teams and program initiatives.
  • The Contractor shall serve as the liaison on technical matters between Sponsor leadership and external stakeholders.
  • The Contractor shall facilitate collaboration among multi-technical disciplines (data, development, and infrastructure) and Sponsor teams, ensuring that projects align with the Sponsor's long-term goals and technological standards.
  • The Contractor shall support cross-functional team meetings and coordinate efforts across various domains to ensure seamless project integration.
  • The Contractor shall communicate project updates, technical challenges, and solution strategies to government leadership and stakeholders, to enable transparency and effective decision-making.
  • The Contractor shall assist Sponsor executive team in prioritizing efforts, managing schedules, and making informed business decisions related to maritime technology projects.
  • The Contractor shall assist in planning and managing multiple projects involving Sponsor infrastructure and exploitation platforms.
  • The Contractor shall collect, organize, or create program artifacts, in support of the Sponsor's data collection requirements.
  • The Contractor shall provide coordination across Sponsor's organization and business partners to expedite data sharing, processing and governance activities.
  • The Contractor shall assist in improving existing processes to enhance operational efficiency and work to ensure timely project completion.
  • The Contractor shall assist in managing evolving mission priorities for current technologies, including adapting to changes in mission needs.
  • The Contractor shall coordinate the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for senior leadership.
  • The Contractor shall serve as a liaison between project teams and Sponsor leadership to facilitate timely project updates and decisions.
  • The Contractor shall be expected to travel overseas for work approximately 1 week out of every month.

Required Skills
  • Demonstrated experience serving as the primary point of contact for a program for all technical, cost and schedule performance matters and issues.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing daily operations for a program.
  • Demonstrated experience managing assigning, providing oversight and reviewing work of program personnel.
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring necessary programmatic and technical artifacts required to effectively and successfully manage the program are created, maintained and are accurate.
  • Demonstrated experience consulting with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess needs and mission priorities.

Desired Skills (Optional)
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing program management artifacts such as presentations or reports.
