Description:
We are seeking a skilled Software Application Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-level support for our software applications, troubleshooting issues, documenting software processes, and ensuring smooth operation of our applications. Must be familiar MS Windows scheduling, services, and AWS environments. This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently identify and resolve technical problems, maintain comprehensive documentation, and collaborate with various teams to enhance system performance.
Preferred Skills:
Angular JS / Typescript (version 15 or greater)
.NET C# API services Core (Docker)
Git Hub Action workflow
Postgres & SQL databases (SQL query language)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for software applications, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Troubleshoot and diagnose application problems, identifying the root cause and implementing solutions.
Document software processes, including installation, configuration, and maintenance procedures.
Manage and monitor MS Windows scheduling tasks, ensuring timely execution of scheduled jobs.
Maintain and optimize MS Windows services to support application functionality.
Utilize AWS services to support and enhance software applications, including cloud infrastructure management, deployment, and monitoring.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve application performance and reliability.
Assist in application testing and validation to ensure software quality and functionality.
Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the software applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in application support and software maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in software application support or a similar role.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and detailed software process documentation.
Proficiency in managing and monitoring MS Windows scheduling tasks and services.
Familiarity with AWS services, including cloud infrastructure management and deployment is a big plus
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system integration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
