Position Overview:
Seeking for an IT Project Leader to join the North American Rolled Products Team. This role will oversee IT environments critical for supply chain, quality, and plant financial systems, ensuring effective project delivery and operational support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT systems supporting supply chain, quality, and plant financial operations.
- Oversee application integrations between plant and corporate systems.
- Direct production support, project deployment, and offshore development teams.
- Ensure project delivery meets objectives for time, cost, and quality.
- Develop and manage capital budget requests and expense forecasts.
- Ensure alignment with compliance standards (e.g., ITAR, DFARS, SOX).
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Drive innovation and implement value-added changes.
- Manage B2B commerce partnerships and EDI deployments.
Key Objectives:
- Collaborate with business leaders to prioritize project needs.
- Align project deliverables and timelines with stakeholder expectations.
- Foster relationships with third-party suppliers for resourcing.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, procurement, finance, and engineering.
- Inspire the team to develop and execute innovative ideas.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and address escalations promptly.
- Conduct compliance testing, including SOX audits and disaster recovery exercises.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
- Experience with manufacturing, quality, or supply chain systems.
- Knowledge of plant financial and inventory systems.
- Strong application support and operations management expertise.
- Proficiency in SQL, PLSQL, and database query tools.
- Familiarity with COBOL and programming languages (VB.Net, C#, Java, C).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and IT audit processes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
