New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Division certifies and regulates approximately 429,000 individuals and businesses that fall into the following seven divisions: Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, Boards and Commissions Division, Cannabis Control Division, Construction Industries Division, Financial Institutions Division, Manufactured Housing Division, and Securities Division.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or Information Technology and six (6) years of experience in software development, project management, or systems analysis, with a minimum two (2) years of experience in the PM role. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling ten (10) years may substitute for the required education and experience. CAPM/PMI-ACP certification may be substituted for one (1) year of experience. PMP/PgMP certification may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.

If Minimum Qualification requires a specific number of "semester hours" in a field (e.g. 6 semester hours in Accounting), applicants MUST have those semester hours in order to meet the minimum qualifications. No substitutions apply for semester hours.

Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within 90 days of employment.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required. Travel will occasionally be required, and after-hours work may be required.
