Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Primary ongoing responsibility is for management of projects.
  • Focuses on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders, and parent bank, etc.
  • Lead or assist in the planning, implementation, and introduction of projects for new systems and technologies.
  • Spends significant time on project management responsibilities.
  • Manage the department activities to ensure compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures and governing laws and regulations.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Project Leadership (50%)
  • Lead project team to perform all phases of the Bank defined project management methodology.
  • Facilitate the development of project requirement definitions, project plans and resource requirements.
  • Work with project owners in the preparation of solution evaluation, project proposals and project requirement definitions.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Establish effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
  • Facilitate change requests to ensure all project team members, project owner and sponsors are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by tracking expected deliverables.
  • Obtain project owner acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Conduct post project evaluation when necessary.

Project Risk Management (40%)
  • Track project performance by identifying risk factors that could impact on-time and on-budget implementation.
  • Communicate project progress, risk level, issues and any adjustments on a consistent bases to stakeholders, management and parent bank, if applicable.
  • Manage project financials by tracking project related expenses.
  • Facilitate mitigation of critical project risks and issues through escalation to project sponsors and executive management.

Administrative Duties (10%)
  • Department budget tracking.
  • Perform related duties, as required, for the training and development purposes.
  • Performing all assigned duties under Bank's compliance programs and related laws & regulations.
  • Successfully complete all mandatory training on related Bank's and any laws and regulations as assigned and in a timely manner.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field is preferred. Master's degree in related fields is a plus.
  • 5+ years increasingly responsible experience, including experience successfully managing various projects.
  • Outstanding grasp of information technology concepts and processes.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for effective leadership of staff.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development, hardware, and network architectures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of Bank's regulations and compliances.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Minimum mobility to work in an office setting; sit for prolonged period of times; operate office equipment including use of a computer keyboard; and reach with hands and arms. Employees are occasionally required to walk and stand and lift and move records and documents weighing 30 pounds or less.


COMMUNICATION DEMANDS:
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, self-motivated, and analytical skills, ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Standard office environment. Noise level in work environment is usually average. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $135,000.00/Yr plus full benefits. Exact offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
