Help Duties * You will manage the security aspects of information technology (IT) systems. * You will be responsible for the day- to-day information security of Integrated Joint Fires Center (IJFC) information systems while contributing to network resilience. * You will assist with setting and maintaining IJFC's cybersecurity posture that includes: IT, work environment, cyber assessment; network protection; personnel security; mishap prevention; incident handling; and cyber security awareness. * You will participate in the development or modification of all computer and network environments to maintain the highest cybersecurity posture. * You will ensure cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are coordinated for the network environment. * You will recommend best management of IJFC resources required to support information technology (IT) security goals and objectives while reducing overall organizational risk. * You will orchestrate engagement with IJFC members to sustain individual INFOSEC requirements; manage network security, and appropriately access databases to meet the IJFC mission. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

3. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a knowledge of the security aspects of various information technology (IT) systems, Integrated Joint Fires Center (IJFC) information systems, network resilience, and the management of information security (INFOSEC) requirements. I possess excellent computer skills and a technical aptitude. I am able to communicate excellently both orally and in writing. Specialized experience must include all or most of the following: 1) Applying a senior knowledge of policies, processes, and procedures along with demonstrated experience in Joint network planning, execution, assessment, and strategic military forces and capabilities; 2) Familiarity with Joint Campaign, Contingency, and Crisis Action response processes and procedures with the ability to develop and assess new policies, processes and procedures; 3) Utilizing a knowledge of military command structure, military staff organization, and operations at a Combatant Command or equivalent strategic-level organization; 4) Using Microsoft suite software, especially PowerPoint, along with a working knowledge of SharePoint; 5) Developing a Joint Fires Network (JFN) to expedite future fires, bridging sensors to shooters through a federated common data layer; and 6) Working at a high-tempo while applying mature judgment and work ethic and leadership experience within a military service.
