Responsibilities As an IT Specialist with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following: * Analyze and refine systems requirements
* Translate systems requirements into applications prototypes
* Plan and design systems architecture
* Write, debug, and maintain code
* Determine and design applications architecture, output media/formats; design user interfaces; and work with customers to test applications
* Assure software and systems quality and functionality
* Integrate hardware and software components
* Write and maintain program documentation
* Evaluate new applications software technologies
* Ensure the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services Qualifications * Active Secret Clearance
* Bachelors Degree in engineering field
* At least eight (8) years of experience in training development and computer systems and applications used in a US Naval environment Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $94,400.00/Yr. - USD $157,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
