IT Specialist

An IT Specialist in this role is pivotal in managing and supporting the company's IT infrastructure, focusing on tasks such as providing Tier 1 and 2 support for Ridgeline employees and their systems, managing corporate accounts, and enhancing network security alongside the Security team. Through automating IT processes, creating documentation, and maintaining hardware and software, they play a crucial role in minimizing downtime, maximizing productivity, and safeguarding company data. Their efforts not only ensure the efficient operation and security of IT systems but also foster a collaborative and transparent workplace environment.

What will you do?

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 level support including but not limited to resolving tickets in Jira for Mac troubleshooting and maintenance, account assistance (AWS, GitHub, GSuite, etc), and virtual conference rooms
• Creatively drive solutions for automating and improving IT processes
• Build documentation resources to scale processes and knowledge base
• Manage corporate network infrastructure
• Deploy and manage corporate Mac laptops and systems
• Monitor and maintain AV hardware in our video conference rooms
• Own and maintain corporate user accounts (i.e.:AWS, GitHub, and GSuite)
• Implement and maintain authentication, authorization, and accounting services (SSO, MFA, Logging, etc.)
• Administer and maintain our Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, ITSM)
• Contribute to a collaborative environment deeply rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency
• Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions and communicate clearly along the way

Desired Skills and Experience

• 1 year of technical experience working in system administration or IT operations
• Ability to learn and maintain audio and video system deployment and maintenance (i.e.: Zoom,
• Familiarity working with Apple products
• Hands-on experience with G-Suite User and Application management
• Strong interest in troubleshooting IT infrastructure and applications
• Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage your time effectively in a startup environment
• An aptitude for problem-solving and a growth mindset
• Ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally and liaise with all departments
• Serious interest in having fun at work

Compensation and Benefits

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $85,000-$102,500. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
