About the role: As a Systems Administrator, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to support various systems and services, including Azure, Entra Active Directory (AD), Sharepoint, O365, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and security protocols. Experience with workstation setup and maintenance will also be essential for this role.

This position reports to the Director of IT and will be on-site in Burbank, CA

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and maintaining company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems, and provide technical assistance/support to end-users on any IT-related matters.
  • Manage and maintain Azure VM's services and resources, including performance and security issues.
  • Implement and optimize Azure-based solutions and maintain backup/recovery protocols.
  • Support the administration and maintenance of Entra Active Directory and O365 services.
  • Assist in user and group management, permissions, and access control.
  • Troubleshoot AD-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Set up, configure, and manage O365 Mailboxes, distribution groups, and shared mailboxes.
  • Implement and manage email policies, retention policies, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
  • Troubleshoot email delivery issues.
  • Set up, maintain, configure, and manage RingCentral, including device set up, call routing, auto attendants, and call queues.
  • Provide integration support for RingCentral omnichannel to Salesforce.
  • Assist in user support, setup, and management of MDM MS Intune solutions for workstation and mobile devices.
  • Setup, configure, and deploy laptops for new/current employees and provide technical hardware and software support.
  • Assist in implementation and maintenance of security protocols, participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments, and aid in security-related incidence response/resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards, and ensure all machines/platforms are updated with the latest security patches and software releases.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues, contacting vendor support when necessary.
  • Maintain and document IT support procedures and knowledge base articles.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors from a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field), and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration with focus on cloud services and security.
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and administration.
  • Experience in Exchange Online and Active Directory (AD) management.
  • Experience in mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Experience in workstation/mac setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Experience in migration from On Prem to Azure and One Drive is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Adhering to the requirements of California's law on salary transparency, the salary bracket for this role is set between $95,000 and $105,000 annually. The offered salary may be adjusted based on various factors such as the applicant's qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
