Integrated Polymer Solutions is seeking a Corporate Systems Administrator to join our teamThis role is responsible to drive the configuration, implementation, support and troubleshooting of enterprise systems, installing and updating system and security patches, enterprise monitoring tools following industry standards in compliance with cybersecurity policies.

Summary: The Corporate Systems Administratorwill ensure all systems are protected and follow IT standards for disaster recovery and cybersecurity protection, work with the IPS IT and cybersecurity teams to maintain a strong security posture across all systems, and support across IPS-owned companies while performing systems administration activities. The role also includes managing IT projects, coordinating initiatives, and providing helpdesk support to address IT-related issues and maintain efficient operations across all IPS US Locations.

The Corporate Systems Administrator will be the primary internal customer interface and manage the support activities of the enterprise systems infrastructure. Limited travel to company locations will be required.

The Corporate Systems Administrator will also assist the organization with supporting the alignment of enterprise systems compliance requirements for Aerospace and defense subcontractors with NIST, DFARS and future CMMC cybersecurity compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive the assigned tasks over the finish line.
  • Act as technical lead on the implementation of new enterprise systems, including testing and knowledge transfer amongst other members of the Enterprise Operations Team.
  • Create notifications and monitoring jobs to proactively address specific systems issues and improve systems uptime.
  • Create and maintain systems procedures, architecture, and workflow diagrams outlining systems configuration, services, processes, disaster recovery, security, and compliance configurations.
  • Collaborate with the IT team in assisting with vulnerability reporting, utilizing CrowdStrike tools.
  • Provide support in identifying, mitigating, and responding to security incidents, ensuring that incidents are handled in alignment with security policies and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with Applications, Security, and HelpDesk teams to ensure systems performance and availability for all USA locations.
  • Work closely with vendors to diagnose and resolve enterprise systems related problems efficiently to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Assist with helpdesk ticketing by addressing IT-related issues and providing timely resolutions.
  • Support project management efforts by coordinating initiatives, tracking progress, and ensuring successful project completion.
  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives at Integrated Polymer Solutions.

Job Specifications:

Education:
  • Relevant certifications such as Security+, Microsoft MCSA or equivalent.

Years Experience:
  • 5+ years as systems administrator or related experience.
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Windows Administration Experience.
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365 administration Experience.
  • 3+ year of VMware administration experience.
  • 2+ year of Systems Backup and vulnerability tools experience.

Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks by priority and operate with effective time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently in the atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools to improve security processes and efficiency, PowerShell/Python/Perl.
  • Strong technical acumen with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and resolving IT-related issues.
  • Ability to develop and track Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for non-compliant controls.
  • Ability with helpdesk ticketing and provide timely solutions to IT-related issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting on data security and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining Windows Servers 2008/2022 Active directory.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Back-up software and related hardware.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining Enterprise email, anti-spam and virus protection, Microsoft O365.
  • Experience on VMWare or Nutanix environments.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Proficiency in using security and IT tools for system monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident detection.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, particularly NIST 800-171 and CMMC.
  • Experience with CrowdStrike systems for threat detection and resolution.
