Overview

The IT Systems Analyst provides technical support and analysis of an IT Infrastructure. This includes providing technical guidance and methodologies for managing, evaluating, recommending, reporting, and resolving IT solutions. Function as liaison between IT Application Developer/Systems Engineer and end users.

Responsibilities

  • Perform systems analyst duties relating to the evaluation of computer hardware and software
  • Analyse current mission-critical infrastructure composition and operational lifecycle and assess existing infrastructure's ability to conduct mission-essential tasks
  • Reviewing and providing recommendations on software systems solutions to support implementation of requirements
  • Develop, review, and provide recommendations on Information Assurance plan(s) to support IT changes
  • Evaluate issues and provide recommendations related to system cost, schedule, and performance
  • Analyse and identify technical risks to equipment function and offer mitigation strategies based on probability and severity
  • Conduct systems analysis to recommend system architecture and design that optimizes performance and facilities integration of dependent systems and data


Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline
  • Minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience with designing and executive processes to access data, write, query, create, and run reports, manipulate, and parse potentially large datasets to support analysis
  • Knowledge of system lifecycle processes
  • Experience working with mission-critical infrastructure and IT systems
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software evaluation methods


Pay Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $165,000.00 /Yr.
