What You'll Be Doing:
Day-to-Day Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues
Become the go-to expert (SME) for systems administration at NICB
Train and mentor the team while fostering collaboration
Strategic Planning & Governance:
Design and manage on-prem & cloud-based IT infrastructure
Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security
Develop policies and procedures for infrastructure & disaster recovery
Acquisition & Deployment:
Research and deploy new IT solutions to keep NICB ahead of the game
Oversee hardware and software upgrades, ensuring smooth operations
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors
Operational Excellence:
Keep IT systems running at peak performance
Implement best practices for Active Directory, O365, and Group Policies
Ensure security compliance and work closely with the NICB Security Team

Skills & Qualifications - What You Bring to the Table!
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field - or equivalent hands-on experience in a tech-driven role
5+ years of senior-level experience designing and managing enterprise IT infrastructure
2+ years leading teams, either as a supervisor or SME on major projects
Experience in 24/7 manufacturing environments (bonus points if you thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes settings!)
Technical Expertise
Extensive experience with Microsoft Server OS, VMWare, and enterprise-level IT solutions
Deep understanding of networking, system administration, and computer hardware (HPE, Dell)
Hands-on experience with iSCSI storage (Nimble, EMC) and Hyperconverged Infrastructure (VXRail, SimpliVity)
Knowledge of high-speed Ethernet (1, 10, 25, 40, and 100Gbps)
Solid background in server backup solutions and ITIL fundamentals
Soft Skills & Problem-Solving
Organizational guru with attention to detail and strong follow-through
Excellent communication-both written and verbal-to break down complex IT issues in a user-friendly way
Analytical mindset with a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities in high-pressure situations
Work Style & Availability
Team player who thrives in collaborative environments
Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when duty calls
Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and participate in hands-on IT tasks
Open to travel for offsite software and system integration efforts
