Onsite in Houston, TX
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage company-wide systems and network infrastructure.
- Maintain and administer IT environment
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets as needed, including user support and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Lead and participate in IT projects, including office upgrades and integration work following company acquisitions.
- Travel to remote sites as necessary for installations, upgrades, and acquisition-related tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess IT needs and implement effective solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in an IT Technician or Generalist role with increasing responsibility.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Network devices
- VoIP systems
- VMware vSphere
- Active Directory administration
- General networking (LAN/WAN/VPN/DNS/DHCP) knowledge
- Willingness to handle support tickets alongside project work.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff.
- Comfortable mentoring junior team members and fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed (estimated 10-20%).
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP).
