Job Summary:

Warner Bros. Pictures Animation is seeking a passionate individual for Animation and Technology. We are looking for a Junior Media Systems Engineer to assist our stake holders in Audio/Video related issues for the team and studio. This role will work closely with the production technology teams to ensure on time delivery of work. An ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and be eager about learning in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second level technical support to end-users for workstation, and software-related issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Set up and deploy new workstations, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and software.
  • Collaborate with the Production Technology team to maintain and update software and hardware inventory.
  • Collaborate with the production team to understand their technical requirements and provide appropriate solutions and recommendations.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to technical procedures, resolutions, and knowledge articles.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance, including software updates, security patches, etc.
  • Assist with network and server-related tasks as needed.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve desktop support processes and provide innovative solutions.


Skills and qualifications
  • The ability to communicate effetely and clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize task and meet deadlines.
  • Work in a fast pace in environment.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS), applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud), and hardware components.
  • Experience with post-production software and systems (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is desirable.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and ability to troubleshoot basic network-related problems.
  • Experience working in Animation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of drawing tools is a plus.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual compensation will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Picture Animation's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $34.00 - $47.00 per hour. In addition, Warner Bros. Picture Animation provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life insurance, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
