The projected compensation range for this position is $63,700.00-$105,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Software Developer to join our team at St Inigoes, MD. This position is onsite.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze technology/capability gaps, research, develop, and deploy software solutions.
- Work with project leads to define and develop associated deliverables.
- Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code.
- Conduct integration, test, bug fixes, and other software maintenance activities.
- Assist in the creation of technical documentation and user guides in support of developed software.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related field
- 1+ years of experience in software development
- Applied experience programming in a Linux environment.
- Applied experience with C/C++, and Java.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience using Wireshark.
- Experience using Eclipse IDE for Development.
- Experience using SVN for source code configuration management.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery
- Communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
