Junior Special Security Technician (Temporary) with Security Clearance

Prescient Edge is seeking a Jr. Special Security Technician (Temporary) to support a federal government client. Please note that this is a 6-month temporary position. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data. Description: * Assists the Special Security Officer (SSO) by providing escort duties for a SCI Facility (SCIFs) renovation project. * Provide access to construction personnel to SCIF while at the same time maintaining security of classified systems and materials. * Provide daily status updates to the government client as well as recommendations to ensure project remains on schedule. * Other duties may include but are not limited to audits of classified material, inspections of classified material storage facilities / SCIFs / containers and researching and preparing classified material-related policy and management recommendations, reports, and recommendations. Job Requirements Desired Experience : * Minimum 3 years of experience relevant to the specific labor category. Desired Education: * Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. * An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 7 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Location: * USSPACECOM Headquarters, Schriever Air Force Base (AFB), Colorado Springs, CO. Required Security Clearance: * Security clearance required TS/SCI with a CI POLY.
