POSITION: K-12 ANIAK SCHOOLS PRINCIPAL
LOCATION: Aniak, AK
TERM: 2024-2025 School Year
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Alaska Type A and Type B Certificate Endorsed K-12 Principal
2. Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree
3. Proven collaborative/team working skills
4. K-12 teacher experience
5. Alaska K-12 administrator experience preferred
6. Experience with Alaska Native students preferred
7. Strong background in K-12 literacy instruction and assessment
8. Training/experience in cooperative learning
9. Training/experience in special education/counseling
10. Experience with at-risk youth and struggling learners
11. Qualified in-district candidates are encouraged to apply and may receive hiring preference.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
SALARY: $102,289.60-$119,120.84 (depends on experience and education)
MOVING ALLOWANCE: $1,500 moving allowance to site location for new hires
JOB GOAL: To work collaboratively with teaching staff, classified employees and administrators
to carry out the District's mission:
"Calillgutekluta Ciutmurrnaurtukut - Let's go forward, working together"
DUTIES: K-12 Single Site Administrator: Auntie Mary Nicoli Elementary &
Aniak Junior Senior High School. Other duties as assigned.
