Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Key Account Manager. This role will be hybrid, working in our Caledon, ON office 3 days a week. This position will report to the International Team Leader.

The Key Account Manager will oversee sales activities within a defined territory and manage sales accounts. This person is responsible for handling the most important clients' accounts in a company. These accounts make up the highest percentage of company income, and the Key Account Manager must build and maintain a strong relationship with the client. They will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met. The Key Account Manager will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts will develop new relationships with potential clients.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
  • Sells the company's products in an assigned territory
  • Monitors existing accounts and regularly communicates with primary contacts for the account
  • Works to establish new accounts in the territory
  • Works towards increasing sales growth in the territory at an established rate determined by Regional Sales Manager
  • Assists with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives
  • Proactively canvases for new accounts and opportunities within assigned area
  • Conducts full GAP analysis on current product at assigned dealers
  • Maintains yearly forecasts for assigned accounts
  • Setup and maintain products, forecasts and PO's within dealer portals
  • Create and maintain all information for product on dealer websites
  • Develop and execute e-commerce sales strategies to drive online revenue growth through platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, and other marketplaces. Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions to maximize sales
  • Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets
  • Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts
  • Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs
  • Resolves customer complaints, product inquiries, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies
  • Prepare sales budget, monitors and approves expenses
  • Acts as the company representative at trade association meetings
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Past experience in Key Account Manager considered an asset
  • Bilingual in English and French, preferred not required
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience required

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel daily and spend most of the day in a vehicle
  • Ability to set up and attend trade shows as needed
  • Valid driver's license and no major driving violations
  • Must be able to life 15 pounds at times

Geographic Reach

Based in the greater Philadelphia, PA area, Lasko Products operates in locations throughout the US and Canada. The company also sources select products internationally from China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, and India. Lasko operates distribution centers in all manufacturing locations plus Nevada and Ohio.
