The Opportunity:

Make a difference; join our team. We have an upcoming opportunity to support the United States Central Command's Directorate of Intelligence (USCENTCOM J2) with strategic and tactical all-source intelligence analysis support. In this exciting opportunity you will conduct responsive, efficient, and reliable analysis and production to satisfy USCENTCOM's primary lines of effort (LOEs). This will include analytical requirements focused on counterterrorism, counter insurgency, regional and transregional issues, energy, socio-cultural, and/or assisting with collection methodology. Help assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that help protect the Department of Defense (DoD) and advance USCENTCOM J2's priorities in the Middle East.

Responsibilities:
  • As a Knowledge Manager for geographic information systems, you will have the opportunity to monitor, collect, and maintain all data capable of being geospatially enabled in an organized, accessible architecture across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks to support the USCENTCOM J2.
  • Preserve foundational data accessible to all USCENTCOM personnel to aid in the creation of mapping products and visualization support provided to the USCENTCOM J2 and USCENTCOM CDR.
  • Assess database functionality for constant availability to support high OPTEMPO real-world operations.
  • Maintain multiple Geospatial Visualization platforms such as ArcMap, ArcPro, ArcGIobe, Google Earth, QGIS, Palantir Raven, SOCCET GXP, ERDAS, and RemoteView.
  • Search various sources of intelligence to provide maximum support to USCENTCOM J2 government civilians and military members.
  • Improve and maintain all online repositories of USCENTCOM including the Portal and data displays for the entire command on three networks (JWICS, SIPR, NIPR).
  • Automate geospatial production essential to the USCENTCOM CDR and enable geospatial analysts to quickly produce Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), which increases continuity across the Community.
  • Educate and train geospatial analysts in modeling, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and other programming languages.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • TS/SCI clearance required with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Specialized training and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Possess proficiency in programming languages to include HTML.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate as part of an intelligence team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with organizational partners.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers.


Desired:
  • Previous experience conducting similar work to support a COCOM or national-level intelligence agency.
  • Knowledge of USCENTOM intelligence support operations.
  • Deployment experience in the CENTCOM AOR.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$59,100 - $124,100
