Job Title: Pathologists Assistant
Job Specialty: Pathology

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum 1 Year
License: Required and must be active before submission
Certifications: ASCP certification required
Must-Have: Experience in pathology
Job Description:
- Position will not float between units.
- On-call is not required.
- Weekends are not required.
- Block schedules are not required.
- Must work three out of five major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- Scrub Color: Any color; OR/L&D: provided; Microbiology Tech: business appropriate street clothes with lab coat provided.
- Charting experience with Epic is required.
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required, flu vaccine status is unknown.
- Modules are non-billable and average 16 hours; anything over 20 hours requires prior approval.
- Orientation comprises 40 non-billable hours.
- Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
- Communication devices required for duties and may be provided.
